"Do you think it can still be saved?" Little Fairy asked hopefully. Although he thought the chances were slim, he still hoped for a miracle.
Bai Binger also looked at him expectantly.
"It shouldn't be much of a problem," Li Yichen said after thinking it over carefully. "Let me go first, and I'll give it a try."
"No. What if you run away after I let you go?" Little Fairy was still uneasy.
"How am I supposed to try if you won't let me go?" Li Yichen was at a loss for words.
"I don't care." Little Fairy pursed his lips. "That's your problem. If you can't bring it back to life, both of you will die with it."
"That won't do. I haven't even gotten married yet." Li Yichen rolled his eyes. "Forget it. I'll free myself."
As he spoke, spiritual power surged from his dantian. He exerted a little force with his arms, and with a crack, the Ice Dragon shattered.
Little Fairy turned pale with fright. He was just about to fly away when he saw Li Yichen casually reach out and grab at the air.
Instantly, Little Fairy felt the space around him tighten, and his hands and feet could no longer move.
"You... you were toying with me?" Little Fairy was terrified. He had thought Li Yichen and Bai Binger were merely two lambs awaiting slaughter. Who would have guessed that Li Yichen was actually a wolf in sheep's clothing? The reversal caught him completely off guard.
