"Wh-what... this involves me too?" Li Yichen was stunned. When Cui Jue and the others had gone with him to buy planes, they hadn't mentioned anything about this!
"Of course it involves you..." Even the usually silent Black Impermanence couldn't resist chiming in.
They then recounted their miserable experiences over the past few days. Looking utterly aggrieved, they said, "The two of us are homeless now. We're practically the laughingstock of the Underworld."
Then they both grabbed Li Yichen's arms and said, "Brother Li, you've got to stand up for us..."
"Uh..." Li Yichen was speechless. How was he supposed to stand up for them? The customer was king, and he didn't want to offend so many kings at once. Did he want to keep doing business in the Underworld or not?
Then his eyes darted, and he chuckled. "Seventh Master, Eighth Master, this is a good thing!" he declared loudly.
His laughter left Black and White Impermanence dumbfounded.
White Impermanence complained unhappily, "Brother, look at the state we're in. Instead of helping us get revenge, you're making snide remarks!"
Black Impermanence's face darkened further. "You'd better explain..."
"Seventh Master, Eighth Master, don't misunderstand," Li Yichen hurriedly said. "I mean, out with the old, in with the new. Since the old place is gone, why don't we get you a bigger, more luxurious mansion?"
He paused, then continued, "I think if we're getting you another mansion, we shouldn't use that old-fashioned architecture anymore. We need to keep up with the times. How about a villa?"
Black and White Impermanence's eyes immediately lit up, their miserable expressions vanishing. Looking rather delighted, they said, "That sounds great, but where would we get a villa?"
Li Yichen proudly thumped his chest. "You might not be able to get one, but I've got them!
