A stone door stood across the path before the three of them.
The door was flat and smooth, without the slightest unusual feature.
Standing before it, Bu Er clicked his tongue in wonder.
Yang Qing and Jiang Zhizhou were also silently studying the stone door.
Just as they could see, there was nothing extra on its surface.
"Could this stone door not be a door at all?"
As Bu Er spoke, he glanced back down the passage they had come through.
His muttering made Yang Qing raise an eyebrow. Why couldn't a stone door be something other than a door?
With that thought, he retraced his steps and examined the murals again.
Only after a long while did he tell Bu Er and Jiang Zhizhou, "The exit isn't the stone door."
Jiang Zhizhou immediately raised his head. "Not the stone door? Then where is it?"
Bu Er also looked at Yang Qing in confusion.
Yang Qing raised his hand and pointed to several spots on the mural. "Both of you, come over and press these spots."
"Bu Er, up three. Xiao Zhou, right four."
Yang Qing spoke with his eyes fixed intently on the mural.
Bu Er and Jiang Zhizhou immediately pushed the protruding stones beneath their hands, which resembled game pieces, in the directions Yang Qing indicated.
"Bu Er, left five. Xiao Zhou, down one..."
Yang Qing's instructions came faster and faster. Fortunately, although Bu Er and Jiang Zhizhou still could not summon their internal energy, their agility remained far beyond that of ordinary men, and they kept up without missing a beat.
"Bu Er, down six. Xiao Zhou, up two."
As Yang Qing's final instruction fell, a low creak came from the mural.
The previously seamless mural split down the middle into two halves, revealing a pitch-black doorway.
