"Are we still inside the illusion formation?"

At Yang Qing's words, both Bu Er and Jiang Zhizhou were somewhat taken aback.

They had thought the illusion formation had vanished the moment they leaped down the waterfall.

Yet they had never expected...

"Still, this illusion formation isn't entirely without merit," Yang Qing added.

Seeing the gleam in Jiang Zhizhou's eyes, Yang Qing paused before continuing, "Using an entire mountain as a formation is quite a grand undertaking. But it may well be an opportunity, too."

"What sort of opportunity?"

Yang Qing looked at Bu Er. "Let's take a look farther ahead first."

With that, he slowly made his way forward.

The three soon left the sea of flowers behind, yet still found nothing.

Could their earlier assumptions have been mistaken?

Or were those few things all that remained connected to the Eastern Radiance Ancient Kingdom?

"Young master, come and look. This path is getting narrower the farther we go."

Yang Qing took a closer look. Sure enough, just as Bu Er had said, the path beneath their feet was growing narrower.

If they continued, there would no longer be room for three people abreast, only one walking alone.

Another cave appeared at the end of the path.

Yang Qing entered the cave, his eyes narrowing.

Several bookshelves stood neatly arranged inside, packed with all manner of books.

"To think there would be books here."

Bu Er and Jiang Zhizhou exchanged a glance, then each reached out and took a book from the shelves.

Yang Qing had a book in his hands as well.

He slowly opened it. A golden light flashed, and the writing on its pages seemed to come alive.

What had originally been an ordinary book now made Yang Qing feel as though he were conversing with a sage.
