When Dongfang Minghui finally stirred awake, the back of her neck ached terribly. Had that living dead man struck her too hard? She opened her eyes and found herself in a dilapidated little room, lying on dry straw beneath ceiling beams that insects had nearly gnawed through.

"You're finally awake?" Little Lecher sprawled inside the space and stretched all four limbs, looking utterly exhausted.

"Huh? What happened?"

She stood and moved around a little. To her surprise, no one was guarding her, so she decided to sneak away. She pulled the door bolt, and the door creaked open easily. "Damn, this living dead man is way too arrogant."

He had abducted her without even posting a guard. Clearly, he thought she was incapable of escaping. This was an outright insult to her dignity.

"You can't escape." Little Lecher rolled over twice inside the space. The spirit medicines all remained silent, which surprised Dongfang Minghui and stirred an ominous premonition in her heart. "Did something happen?"

The chubby little child nodded. "While you were unconscious, we tried to carry you out, but-" Little Lecher spread both hands, indicating that they had exposed themselves and been discovered by that living dead man. "There are pitifully few of our kind in Homecoming Town. I reckon they couldn't stand the rotten stench here and died. Those that could run moved away..."

Little Lecher could barely stand Homecoming Town's smell either. The chubby child simply lay flat with all four limbs pointing skyward, muttering, "Pig Immortal Grass, hurry up and release some immortal energy."

Pig Immortal Grass hopped straight onto Little Lecher's round belly, stomping here and there and having a wonderful time.

Dongfang Minghui studied Pig Immortal Grass curiously. She suddenly realized it seemed to be the only spirit medicine still brimming with energy.
