Li Jing nodded, hauled Murong Qingyi straight up from the floor, and escorted her through the stone door with a warning. "Our Young Tower Master is giving you a chance. If you're capable of escaping this place alive, consider yourself lucky."
If she failed to escape, she could hardly blame them for breaking their word.
Murong Qingyi touched her face. The wounds she had just received would not heal so quickly. Her face hurt, and she could guess that she might have been disfigured. She glared viciously at everyone around her, plotting how she would take revenge on the sisters, Qian Wanyu and Dongfang Minghui, once she returned, and how she would make their lives worse than death. She never caught the implication behind Li Jing's words.
Murong Qingyi drew her long whip and raced back along the route Qian Wanyu had taken earlier. But with her injuries and the unbearable pain in her abdomen, her strength gave out halfway, and she collapsed.
