Seeing that there was still room aboard, the fat man immediately said with a chuckle, "Isn't there still space? We can squeeze in. A helicopter this big can handle my few extra pounds."
Just then, a child aboard pointed at the fat man and said with perfect innocence, "Mister, that's not a few pounds. That's two hundred pounds."
"You..."
The officer couldn't be bothered arguing with him. He pushed past the fat man and was about to call Chen Hao aboard.
But Chen Hao waved him off and told the officer, "I'll make my own way. Take them somewhere safe, quickly."
The officer wasted no time. He snapped a salute to Chen Hao, then directed the helicopter to take off slowly.
Watching the helicopter recede, the fat man beat his chest and stamped his feet in frustration. He had missed such a perfect chance to escape. Who knew how long he would have to wait for another?
Dawn had broken, and a ray of morning sunlight tore through the darkness along the horizon, lighting up the world.
Everyone watched the helicopter fly through the morning light. The sight filled them all with hope.
"What's that?"
While everyone was absorbed in the sight, a man suddenly pointed toward another part of the sky in astonishment.
Everyone looked over, and Chen Hao followed their gazes.
It was a dark mass, something like a storm cloud, yet not quite. It was moving unusually fast, too.
It was too far away for anyone there to make out what it was, but with his Heavenly Eye Art, Chen Hao saw it clearly in an instant.
"Oh no!"
The instant Chen Hao identified the mass, he shot forward, flying frantically toward the helicopter. "Watch your flank! Watch your flank!"
Chen Hao poured all the spiritual power
