Gergen, who had never thought much of Chen Hao, now revealed a faint smile. "Not necessarily."
He had barely finished speaking when a figure shot out of a fissure in the ground and landed right in front of them.
Seeing Chen Hao emerge unharmed, Vasily immediately rushed over. "Chen Hao, you're all right! That's great! Did you get the Metal-Type Spirit Source?"
Chen Hao gave an enigmatic smile without answering directly. "I've taken care of that giant golden beast for you. Come to China in ten days. You'll get what I promised you."
With that, Chen Hao turned to leave.
"Wait!" Gergen suddenly called out.
Chen Hao frowned and turned to look at Gergen. "Is there something else?"
Gergen chuckled. "You don't seem to have answered our question yet."
Chen Hao turned around, his expression growing icy. "What? Are you thinking of taking it back?"
Gergen said nothing, merely staring coldly at Chen Hao.
Chen Hao warned him, "Whether I obtained the Metal-Type Spirit Source is no longer any concern of yours. All you need to know is that I'll keep my promise. And one more warning: don't even think about taking the Metal-Type Spirit Source back. The consequences would be severe."
