For the next five minutes, Manager Tang stood red-faced as the Sales Director berated her in front of everyone.
Afterward, the Sales Director apologized to Chen Hao. "Sir, I'm terribly sorry for the inconvenience. Please forgive us."
Chen Hao kept pretending to be furious. "Your sales staff are far too unprofessional! How can you just quote customers whatever price you like? You're driving me mad!"
The Sales Director knew perfectly well that Chen Hao was putting on an act, but could only keep placating him. "We're truly sorry. Please calm down. I'll cancel the car for you."
"Wait," Chen Hao suddenly interrupted. "I still want to buy it."
Uh...
The Sales Director had no idea how to handle him now and stared at him in confusion.
Chen Hao pointed at Manager Tang. "This salesperson is far too unprofessional. Get me someone else. That girl Yu Jiao from earlier was pretty good. Have her take care of me."
"Yu Jiao?" The Sales Director frowned, thinking it over. The name didn't ring a bell.
Seeing this, Manager Tang immediately leaned over and whispered, "Yu Jiao is a new hire in the Business Department. She only started today."
The Sales Director paused, then hurriedly smiled. "Sir, Yu Jiao has only just joined us and isn't familiar with many of our procedures. How about I personally assist you?"
But Chen Hao didn't give that suggestion the time of day. "If it isn't her, I'm not buying."
And so Yu Jiao was brought back and completed the entire payment process under the Sales Director's personal guidance.
Once the Sales Director understood Chen Hao's intentions, even the director couldn't help feeling a little envious. "Yu Jiao, you've landed a huge sale on your very first day. Congratulations! Keep up the good work."
