After finishing his business, Randall left the office.
Zephyr left with him.
As they walked, Zephyr said with a sigh,
"Randall, I honestly wish you'd get angry and give us old men a good scolding."
Randall shook his head and smiled.
"Come on, Teacher Zephyr. We both know who's responsible for this, don't we?"
Zephyr sighed inwardly again.
The more understanding Randall was, the worse he felt.
But he also understood that the person suffering most right now had to be Randall.
In truth, Randall really did find it hard to accept.
Because he knew that Garp knew where the person the World Government wanted was.
But could he say that?
If he did, all that would happen was that Sengoku would fly into a rage and fight Garp.
Then Garp would stubbornly refuse to give in and willingly let Sengoku beat him up.
Before Sengoku even threw a punch, Garp would have already offered up his face.
And then... the outcome would be exactly the same as before.
After all, Sengoku couldn't possibly sell Garp out.
Back when he read the manga, Randall had actually resented Garp for a while.
He had even blamed Garp for all those deaths in the South Blue.
But later, he had come to understand.
This was a classic trolley problem.
No matter what the person forced to choose decided, it would be wrong.
But the truly despicable person was the one forcing that choice on them.
The World Government had issued this inhuman order. How could the blood debt be laid at Garp's feet?

Randall raised his head and looked at the distant clouds, his thoughts wandering.
If he had been asked to decide before carrying out his Shichibukai mission, he probably would have followed the original
