Christa's eyes reddened, then were engulfed in blue lightning.
Dangerous arcs of electricity writhed around her like striking snakes.
The poison user and the others jumped in fright.
At that moment, Christa resembled the Thunder God. A bolt of lightning shot skyward, then streaked straight toward the poison user.
Lightning instantly filled his vision.
Terror gripped him. He was good at using poison, not fighting!

Christa swayed on her feet, her face as pale as paper.

The poison user wiped away his cold sweat, his voice trembling.
"Big Brother Aequus."
Swaying, Christa looked toward Aequus.
His face had turned ashen, his lips purple.
His eyes were wide with fury, but they held no light, and his pupils had begun to lose focus.
Christa's heart clenched at the sight.
She couldn't believe it. Had her Big Brother Aequus really died just like that?
"All right, just knock her out. Who knows what trouble she might cause later!"
