"Who did you kill?"
Zephyr figured that if Randall had killed someone important, the Holy Land would have erupted by now.
Randall would never have had the chance to take his call.
In that case, it was probably some minor figure.
If so, it shouldn't be too serious.
"Nothing much. Just a Celestial Dragon.
A piece of trash."
Randall spoke casually.
"Oh, so it was just a Celestial Dragon. No wonder nothing hap...
Wait, wait, wait! What did you just say, brat?!"
Randall repeated himself helplessly, and only then did Zephyr confirm that he hadn't misheard.
Now he was utterly shocked.
Just listen to that tone!
Just listen to those words—"just," "nothing much"!!!
He made it sound like he'd gone sightseeing and killed a chicken along the way!
But what shocked Zephyr even more was that the Holy Land hadn't reacted at all to something like this.
And judging by Randall's tone, he hadn't suffered any consequences whatsoever.
What on earth was going on?
"No, but you..."
Randall knew what Zephyr wanted to ask, so he reassured him:
"You don't need to worry, Teacher Zephyr.
The Five Elders took me to find that pig.
When I killed him, the Five Elders were even standing at the door keeping watch for me.
I'm fine."
His tone was light, but his heart was heavy.
His probing had yielded results this time. He'd discovered that Imu's indulgence toward him was far from ordinary.
The more indulgent Imu was, the more he must want from him.
Hmm, looks like I'll need to put Aequus and the others through some 'special training' when I get back.
I can't leave out the Black Mountain King and the others on Birka, either.
After hearing Randall's words, Zephyr's expression went something like this:
