An elevated bridge also connected Manro Island and David Island. After touring Manro Island, Liu Qing drove onto the bridge, where traffic streamed back and forth. He had not thought the island was particularly crowded until now. It was not that there were few visitors, but that he had been driving along the roads while most of them had ventured deep into the flower fields.
The bridge wound like a long dragon, with cars as far as the eye could see. Traffic was packed so tightly that Liu Qing could hardly accelerate, inching along at a speed only slightly faster than he had managed on Manro Island.
"What a pain. This is the main road connecting the two islands, so besides tourists from elsewhere, there must be plenty of local residents too!" There also seemed to be something wondrous within its antique elegance, quietly awakening people's curiosity about history and inviting them to explore, study, admire, and stand in awe.
