Plot points and events
- Liu Qing reaches Violet City, rests, and challenges Gym Leader Falkner for his first Johto Badge. The match is a three-on-three battle.
- Eevee defeats Falkner’s Hoothoot by evading Peck with Dig, then combining Ice-type Hidden Power and Iron Tail.
- Liu Qing sends out Rhyhorn against Dodrio. Rhyhorn evolves into Rhydon during their clash and uses Stone Edge to knock Dodrio out.
- In the final battle, Porygon faces Falkner’s Pidgeot. Pidgeot’s speed initially lets it land a Wing Attack, but Liu Qing has Porygon use Agility to map out a triangular pattern around it.
