Vulpix Was Super Brave!

Hu Bin nodded, then looked at the downright inhuman PE teacher and joked, "Sir, don't cry when you lose!"

Hearing Hu Bin's cocky words, his classmates were baffled. Was Hu Bin really that full of himself?

The PE teacher froze for a moment before catching on. "Well, well! You even know how to throw your opponent off with trash talk!"

Hu Bin smiled. "No, no. I'm just genuinely worried you'll cry!"

His classmates were even more shocked. Hu Bin really had a death wish!

The PE teacher wasn't angry in the slightest. "Then let's see who cries first!"

Hu Bin smiled faintly. As the battle began, he made the first move. "Vulpix, use Howl!"

Vulpix stood on the spot and let out a ferocious roar, instantly buffing its own Attack!

The PE teacher and Primeape were stunned. They had been ready for Vulpix to rush straight at them, but instead, Vulpix had buffed itself first.

That left Primeape a step behind. The PE teacher smiled faintly. "Not bad. You've already figured out my fighting style. Then let's attack head-on and see if you can stop us."

"Primeape, use Fire Punch!"

Primeape charged straight at Vulpix, flames enveloping its fist.

"Vulpix, use Dig and hide underground!"

Vulpix quickly dug a hole and ducked inside, making Primeape's Fire Punch miss completely.

Just then, Vulpix burst out and struck Primeape right in the face.

The hit landed squarely, and Primeape cried out in pain.

The classmates watching from the sidelines were dumbfounded. Was Hu Bin really this strong? He was putting the teacher on the back foot!

The PE teacher looked impressed as well. Not bad. That battle awareness and coordination are both pretty good!

Then the PE teacher said, "Primeape, hang in there! Use Rage, then keep using Karate Chop!"

Vulpix's blow had enraged Primeape. Its fury surged, and the bulging cross-shaped vein on its forehead became even more pronounced. With an angry roar, Primeape gained another buff from Rage and unleashed a wild barrage of chops at Vulpix!

"Vulpix, use Protect!"

A green barrier enveloped Vulpix, shielding it, but Primeape's assault was too fierce. Before long, Protect gave way, and a Karate Chop struck Vulpix. It let out a pained cry, but it didn't fall, stubbornly remaining on its feet in the arena!

Seeing Vulpix injured broke Hu Bin's heart.

"Vulpix, can you keep going?" he asked with concern.

Vulpix turned and looked firmly at its Trainer.

"Vul!" I can do it!

Hu Bin gritted his teeth and gave the command. "Vulpix, use Mist!"

Vulpix breathed out billowing white mist, shrouding the entire battlefield!

Primeape couldn't see anything inside the mist and grew even more agitated.

Just then, a beam of white light struck Primeape. It was Vulpix's signature move, Aurora Beam!

Primeape cried out in pain and searched furiously for Vulpix.

The PE teacher grew anxious at the sight of the mist too. After all, he couldn't see what was happening inside it either!

With no other choice, the PE teacher had Primeape use Double Team to defend itself.

Hu Bin wasn't rattled in the slightest. "Vulpix, use Powder Snow and spread it across the whole battlefield!"

Following Hu Bin's command, Vulpix unleashed a blast of Powder Snow. Ice rapidly formed across the battlefield, and the wide-ranging attack struck Primeape as well, wiping out all its Double Team copies!

Just then, Primeape spotted Vulpix's silhouette and lunged at it with a Fire Punch. But the ground had already frozen over. Primeape's foot slipped, and it fell flat on the ground.

Soon, the mist cleared, revealing an ice-covered battlefield to the PE teacher and the students. Primeape lay on the ground, repeatedly trying to get up only to slip and fall again.

The PE teacher grew nervous. He had thought Hu Bin was merely trying to obscure Primeape's vision, but he had actually been buying time to freeze the ground and restrict Primeape's movements.

Hu Bin, you really are pretty strong!

The students' jaws dropped in amazement. They hadn't expected Hu Bin to have a trick like that up his sleeve. He was thinking on a whole other level!

Hu Bin smiled faintly. "Sir, can your Primeape skate? If not, you might lose. My Vulpix is an expert skater!"

Turning back, Hu Bin immediately gave another command. "Vulpix, use Quick Attack, rush over, then use Hypnosis!"

Vulpix cried out excitedly and shot forward in a streak of white light. It was completely in its element on the ice, moving even faster than before. Before Primeape could react, Vulpix's sudden Hypnosis hit it as it struggled desperately on the slippery surface!

Primeape fell asleep right there on the ground. There was no turning things around now.

Ice-type energy gathered in Vulpix's mouth. At Hu Bin's command, an Aurora Beam slammed into Primeape, blasting the sleeping Pokémon into the air before it crashed back down, unable to battle!

Now, the entire sports field was silent. Everyone was too stunned to speak.

He really had beaten the teacher badly enough to make him cry. How was Hu Bin so amazing?

With a wry smile, the PE teacher recalled his defeated Primeape.

Well, this is humiliating. I lost to my own student. Everyone will probably know by tomorrow. I'm usually the one dishing it out, but this time, I got a taste of my own medicine.

After defeating its powerful opponent, Vulpix excitedly leaped into Hu Bin's arms, nuzzling him and begging for praise!

"Vul! Vul!" Trainer, your little Vulpix was super brave!

Hu Bin held Vulpix and showered it with praise and kisses, leaving it utterly overwhelmed!

The classmates finally snapped out of their long stupor and burst into enthusiastic applause for Hu Bin and Vulpix's valiant performance. Quite a few girls gazed at them with admiration shining in their eyes!

That left many of the boys green with envy!

Liu Yi was the most resentful of all. He stared mournfully at Hu Bin and Vulpix as they basked in the limelight on the battlefield, and sorrow welled up inside him. I finally got a chance to battle and managed to push the PE teacher's Pokémon back a few steps, but you went and wiped the floor with him! How am I supposed to live with that? Hu Bin, give me back my girls!

After PE class ended, Hu Bin, Wu Jin, and a heartbroken Liu Yi headed home, planning to meet up with Yi Nanzi and begin their evening training.

But the story of Hu Bin defeating the PE teacher spread far and wide among the students.

Almost the entire school heard about it. Everyone was saying how strong Hu Bin was—and how embarrassing it was for the PE teacher!
