Vulpix could do housework now

After dinner, the four sprawled lazily on the sofa and watched TV. Thinking about the approaching Spring City Marathon, Yi Nanzi still felt a little nervous, so he asked Hu Bin.

Seeing their expressions, Hu Bin thought, You can't blame me for this. I'm a man of my word! How am I supposed to win a beauty's heart without taking first place? And how am I supposed to get those generous system rewards without winning? There's even a Fire-type Pokémon egg among them! The system only gives out top-quality stuff! Besides, there's the hefty prize money for winning the race too!

Hu Bin said seriously, "Yi Nanzi, we're going to make the training a lot harder over the next few days. You and Cyndaquil had better prepare yourselves!"

Yi Nanzi and Cyndaquil were both stunned. Isn't the current training load already high enough? Why are we increasing it again? Brother Bin, this could kill us!

Cyndaquil agreed with its Trainer, giving Hu Bin a pitiful look!

"Cynda!" Brother Bin, have mercy! I'm still little. I can't handle that much pressure!

Hu Bin smiled at them. He had already guessed they would say that!

Turning to Vulpix, who was watching TV, Hu Bin asked, "Vulpix, do you want to win the championship? Do you want another trophy in our house?"

Vulpix's eyes lit up at his words, and it wagged its little tails excitedly. "Vul! Vulpix!"

I've wanted to take first place again for ages! Let everyone see how awesome my Trainer and I are!

Hu Bin was delighted by Vulpix's enthusiasm. See? My little one is still the most hardworking!

Hu Bin told Vulpix gently, "We'll be stepping up our training this time. Are you ready for that?"

Vulpix nodded and declared with gusto, "Vul! Vulpix!" I already think our current training isn't enough. Getting to do more is a great thing!

"Cynda!" Cyndaquil was shocked. Trainer, how could you switch sides so quickly?

"Cyndaquil, I've recently developed some new Pokéblocks that are perfect for you. The thing is, they'll only taste even more delicious if you've done enough training before eating them." Hu Bin calmly dropped a bombshell on Cyndaquil!

Cyndaquil narrowed its little eyes, already imagining how delicious the Pokéblocks would be. Drool trickled down despite its best efforts!

Then Cyndaquil patted its chest with its little stubby hands.

Then blue light shone from Vulpix's eyes, and all the dust and rubbish in the house floated into the air. Guided by the blue light, the rubbish flew into the bin bag. In an instant, the house was much cleaner!

Hu Bin's jaw dropped in surprise. Vulpix, you're a genius! So Extrasensory can be used like this too! Why didn't I think of that?

Vulpix glanced back at Hu Bin proudly. Trainer, your little Vulpix is amazing, right?

Hu Bin immediately raised his thumb, giving Vulpix an enthusiastic thumbs-up.

Vulpix smiled sweetly and went straight back to doing the housework!

Hu Bin sat dazedly on the sofa, watching Vulpix use Extrasensory to direct the mop and cleaning cloth!

Good heavens! This is unbelievable! My Vulpix can do housework now!

Hu Bin felt like crying—crying because he was so touched! Like a parent watching their child do housework for the first time, he felt both proud and deeply moved!

Vulpix often watched Hu Bin do the housework and wanted to help, but its little paws limited what it could do. Being unable to do much had made it feel awful!

Now that it had Extrasensory, Vulpix could help its Trainer with all sorts of things. It was so happy!

After finishing the housework, Vulpix looked at the sparkling-clean home and felt even happier. I, little Vulpix, am just too amazing!
