The Ice Empress lives in the Core Circle of the Far North and ranks second among its Three Great Heavenly Kings. Her strength and prestige make her the natural successor to the Snow Empress as ruler of the region 29 49.

Before her 400,000-year tribulation, she consumes several pieces of ten-thousand-year profound ice marrow to heal injuries left by an earlier tribulation. When the next trial arrives a century ahead of schedule, she suspects the marrow caused its early arrival. She chooses to face it alone rather than endanger the Snow Empress, who also has a major tribulation approaching 29.

The Sky Dream Ice Silkworm previously pursued her romantically, but she rejected him. She regards him as potential nourishment rather than a partner, noting that her clan traditionally preys on his kind 82 94.

Appearance

Her original form is an approximately one-and-a-half-meter-long scorpion with an icy-white and emerald-green body that radiates extreme cold. After entering the King Ball, she gains the appearance of a petite young girl 29 32.

She reacts similarly to being called his “underling,” hitting him until he replaces the description with “great-aunt” 30 34.

Her pride does not prevent her from honoring commitments. She keeps the ten-year bodyguard agreement after surviving her tribulation and openly acknowledges her debt when Chen Mo restores her essence.
