Tetsuya destroyed Kusagakure, claimed the Box of Ultimate Bliss, and maneuvered through the growing war while Sasori’s pursuit of Sakumo ended in a staged death. As the conflict reached the Land of Fire, Team Minato began its mission to destroy Kannabi Bridge and was ambushed.

• Tetsuya and Kakuzu destroyed Kusagakure, freed prisoners including Karin Uzumaki’s mother, and later forced the Land of Grass’s Daimyo to accept their original contract.
• At Hozuki Castle, Tetsuya defeated Gō, learned the Box of Ultimate Bliss’s history, and claimed the box with Divine Artifact Recognition.
• As the Third Shinobi World War began, Tetsuya tracked the clashes among the villages while Madara Uchiha prepared Obito to act as his representative.
• Sasori confronted Sakumo in the Land of Grass, and Sakumo staged his death so Konoha would remember him as a fallen hero.
• Huang Bai captured a White Zetsu, and Tetsuya connected its presence to Black Zetsu’s plans around Kannabi Bridge.
• Kirigakure and Iwagakure invaded the Land of Fire, and Konoha assigned Minato, Kakashi, Obito, and Rin to destroy Kannabi Bridge.
• After Minato left to aid the front, Kakashi, Obito, and Rin reached the bridge, planned to demolish its supports, and faced an ambush in the bamboo grove.

Tetsuya intervened in the events surrounding Obito, Rin, and Akatsuki while preparing to become Daimyo of the Land of Grass. After his succession, he resurrected Tobirama Senju and proposed building a unified nation to bring peace.

• Tetsuya bargained with Madara Uchiha, challenged his faith in the stone tablet, and promised to resurrect him if his claims about the Ōtsutsuki proved true.
• Kirigakure sealed Isobu inside Rin, and Kakashi accidentally struck her with Chidori as she shielded him, prompting Obito’s Mangekyō awakening before Tetsuya rescued Rin.
• Tetsuya took Rin as his fourth disciple and began teaching her Senjutsu while Konoha’s counterattack forced Iwagakure to retreat.
• Obito tried to recruit Nagato, but Yahiko rejected him, and Tetsuya’s warning helped the Akatsuki identify Obito as an impostor.
• Yahiko, Nagato, and Konan defeated Hanzo, took control of Amegakure, and reorganized Akatsuki, while Tetsuya prepared to become Daimyo of the Land of Grass.
• Tetsuya became Daimyo at his succession ceremony as representatives from several nations gathered and discussed a possible joint attack on Konoha.
• Tetsuya summoned Tobirama Senju in his Divine Kingdom, where Izuna fought him, and then explained his resurrection and his plan to unite the world.

Tetsuya expanded his influence in the Land of Grass while events in Konoha led to Minato and Kushina’s deaths, Orochimaru’s defection, and a new crisis for the Uchiha. The arc ended with Tetsuya confronting Orochimaru and hinting that someone in the Land of Grass wanted him dead.

• Tetsuya brought Tobirama and Izuna to the Land of Grass, made Tobirama help establish a ninja academy, and began advancing his plan to unite the nations and abolish the village system.
• As the Four Great Shinobi Villages attacked Konoha, Tetsuya visited the village, secured approval to fund a shopping street, and later returned to the Land of Grass with his plans for Konoha unfinished.
• When Obito attacked during Naruto’s birth, Rin fought him, Minato and Kushina died, and Tetsuya saved Naruto by sealing Kushina and half of the Nine-Tails inside him.
• Danzo failed to take the Hokage position from Hiruzen and later demanded Naruto for Root, while Hiruzen refused and investigated disappearances linked to Orochimaru’s experiments.
• Tetsuya formed a Commercial Alliance with the Land of Rivers and the Land of Birds, then asked Kakuzu to return to Takigakure and take control of the village.
• After Orochimaru defected, Tobirama and Izuna argued over Konoha and the Uchiha Clan, while Orochimaru left the Land of Fire and entered the Land of Grass.
• Tetsuya revealed his true identity and immense power to Orochimaru, who said he had planned to build strength in the Land of Grass before returning to destroy Konoha.
• Tetsuya told Orochimaru that someone in the Land of Grass wanted to kill him and gave him clues that led Orochimaru to consider the person’s identity.

Tetsuya strengthened his ties with Neji and Orochimaru, intervened in Shisui’s clash with Danzō, and brought Shisui to the Land of Grass. He later arranged for Shisui to witness the Uchiha massacre, where Shisui awakened a new Mangekyō Sharingan and confronted Itachi.

• Tetsuya left Orochimaru in the Land of Grass, then traveled to Konoha and befriended Naruto while the Cloud delegation prepared to pressure the Hyuga Clan.
• After Hizashi volunteered to die in exchange for peace with Kumogakure, Tetsuya made Neji his disciple and gave him modified Hashirama cells.
• Tetsuya returned to the Land of Grass, where Tobirama built a working phone prototype and Tetsuya began developing Neji’s training.
• Tetsuya accepted Orochimaru’s offer of the Land of Rice Fields and secured promises that Kabuto, Kimimaro, Hozuki Suigetsu, and Jūgo would join the Land of Grass.
• Tetsuya, Izuna, and Tobirama stopped Danzō from taking Shisui’s remaining eye, rescued Shisui from the Naka River, and brought him to the Land of Grass.
• Kushina revealed herself to Naruto in the Sealing Space, and Naruto began forming friendships with Hinata, Choji, and Shikamaru.
• Tetsuya told Shisui that the Uchiha Clan might be annihilated and brought him to witness Itachi killing the clan, while Izuna went to the Konoha Military Police Force.
• Shisui confronted Itachi after he killed Fugaku and Mikoto, awakened a new Mangekyō Sharingan, and attacked with a green Susanoo as Itachi blocked him with his own Susanoo.
