Neji wasn't worried at all. After all, they had planned everything from the start.
With his current abilities, he might not have been able to outrun everyone else, but there was no way some half-dead mutt could catch him and leave a mark like this on him.
Seeing that his uncle wasn't panicking at all, Boruto calmed down too.
"You're right, Uncle. Panicking won't help. We should calm down and think of a solution instead."
Neji nodded and patted Boruto's head.
"That's the spirit. Watch and learn."
Although Neji wasn't much older than Boruto at the moment, he still carried himself like an elder.
Sasuke looked at the mark on Neji's hand and spoke.
"With that, this should all be over."
Madara Uchiha folded his arms across his chest and said arrogantly,
"This so-called Ōtsutsuki wasn't much. His skills were nothing special. If all those Ōtsutsuki are at his level, we have nothing to worry about."
As he spoke, he shot Sasuke a displeased glance.
"But you-what were you doing, letting this guy escape to this era? Are those Rinnegan of yours just for show?"
Sasuke looked a little embarrassed.
"It was an accident. When he appeared, I didn't know what abilities he had, and he caught me off guard. His fishhook stole most of my chakra, so he got away."
Thinking it over, Madara realized that he, too, had only managed to suppress this fellow because he had known about his abilities beforehand.
The brat's abilities really were troublesome. Without advance preparation, even he might have had a hard time dealing with him.
But who was he? He was Madara Uchiha, the Dancing King of the Shinobi World. Could he possibly admit something like that?
Absolutely not. If he could win, it was because he was just that damn
