After reading the post, Tetsuya turned to Madara Uchiha with a peculiar expression, looking as though he was trying hard not to laugh.
"Old Madara, is this why you wanted to kill Tobirama?"
"What? Tetsuya, do you think he doesn't deserve to die either?"
Madara was displeased. Whatever else might be true, Chiba Tetsuya had the same eyes as the Uchiha. Surely he couldn't favor Tobirama Senju this much.
"Well, how should I put it? Tobirama really was a little underhanded."
Tobirama defended himself.
"Hold on, how was I underhanded? The Uchiha Clan's problems were common knowledge in Konoha! Besides, I worked diligently throughout my time in office. I may not have liked the Uchiha Clan much, but I wasn't all that biased against them, was I? Didn't I take an Uchiha as my student too? And I thought very highly of Kagami back then!"
"Oh, wonderful! Even now, you still dare to make excuses!"
Madara Uchiha snapped in displeasure.
"Back then, Hashirama said he wanted me to become Konoha's First, but you stepped forward and said the Hokage should be elected by a vote, and that only a Hokage everyone recognized was a true Hokage.
"In the end, all those clans that joined Konoha voted for Hashirama. Fine, I could accept that. I acknowledged him as Hokage, after all.
"But what happened afterward? Why did you become the Second directly, without an election?"
"Wasn't that all your fault?! If you hadn't suddenly defected from the village and fought my brother, leaving him so badly wounded in both body and mind that he eventually died, how would Konoha have ended up in a crisis? And without that crisis, why would I have had to bite the bullet and shoulder the burden of being the Second?"
