As the three entered the courtyard, the Uchiha Clan bowed in unison.
That was the Uchiha Clan: proud, and drawn to strength. As long as you were stronger than them, they would look up to you and respect you.
And Tetsuya, Madara Uchiha, and Izuna were far stronger than any of the Uchiha present. More importantly, Tetsuya was the great benefactor of these survivors.

Tetsuya waved a hand, signaling for everyone to relax.
He looked at the three ninja leading them. Standing at the front of the Uchiha were Sasuke, Shisui, and Uchiha Izumi.
Looking at the three, Tetsuya spoke.
"So, you three are acting as representatives this time, correct?"
The three nodded.
Tetsuya asked a question he already knew the answer to.
"All right, then tell me what you want, coming to see me in such force.
I don't recall treating you poorly, have I?"
Shisui answered respectfully.
"Lord Daimyo, the Uchiha Clan can never repay your immense kindness. You rescued us from our clan's destruction and gave us a place to live and rebuild our lives. The Uchiha Clan will never forget it. There is absolutely no question of you treating us poorly."
When he finished, Izumi beside him picked up the conversation.
"Our main reason for coming today is to ask your permission to leave the Land of Grass and execute the traitor to the Uchiha Clan, Uchiha Itachi."
Izumi practically forced those words through gritted teeth.
If hatred had ranks, then hatred born of love would undoubtedly rank highest.
Uchiha Izumi and Uchiha Itachi could be called childhood sweethearts, innocent and inseparable.
Who could have imagined that Uchiha Itachi would ultimately betray his clan?
