Ch. 341Sasuke: People always grow
- Key events: Obito tries to manipulate Sasuke by offering information about Itachi, but Sasuke notices someone approaching. Rin appears and confronts Obito, whom she calls a traitor to the Uchiha. As the two begin fighting, Sasuke seals Itachi’s body and heads to the river, where Tetsuya rescues him from falling into the water and lets him rest.
- Sasuke’s development: Sasuke says revenge has left him feeling relieved rather than triumphant. He now hopes to restore the Uchiha and take revenge on Konoha, but is willing to wait. He even considers using Rinne Rebirth himself to revive the clan, accepting that it could cost his life. Tetsuya observes that Sasuke has grown beyond his former obsession; Sasuke credits Tetsuya’s guidance.
- Revelation and battle: Tetsuya identifies Obito as the other culprit behind the Uchiha massacre. He warns that Obito’s phasing, Wood Release, and other abilities make him exceptionally dangerous, though Rin has her own trump cards. As Obito gains the upper hand, Rin calls on Isobu, the Three-Tails, and begins a full Tailed Beast Transformation.
- Character interactions: Sasuke and Obito exchange hostile remarks before Sasuke leaves the fight to Rin. Tetsuya comforts Sasuke, discusses his plans for the clan, and explains Obito’s identity and strength. Their warm, teasing conversation shows their trust, while Rin’s direct challenge to Obito reflects her determination to protect Sasuke’s interests.
- Themes: The chapter emphasizes personal growth, the complicated burden of revenge, sacrifice for one’s family and clan, and the way long-term plans can change unexpectedly.
