Jiaoshou apologizes to everyone. I really haven't been in good shape these past two days. Starting today, updates will return to normal: five today, and extra updates tomorrow too, no fewer than three. The night was hazy, its murky veil shrouding the Arathi Highlands. Lush grass carpeted the ground, and darkness wound between the branches.

Hammerfall was utterly quiet in the darkness, cold and deserted. There was little activity at night in Azeroth. Even among civilized races such as humans, most people chose to rest once night fell, and races such as Gnolls were even more inclined to do so. They rested at sunset and rose at sunrise, a pattern shared by most savage races.

A palisade made of logs surrounded Hammerfall, serving as its walls. A bloody smell rose from it. Dried blood covered the logs, and the stench lingered.

Flames crackled in the braziers, swaying back and forth in the cool gusts and lighting Hammerfall's gate.

A small squad of sturdy Gnolls patrolled back and forth with weapons in hand. As one squad passed, another arrived, repeating the same circuit over and over.

The Wolf Fang Tribe was no small tribe among the Gnolls. Its members shared a wolf's disposition: suspicious, always on guard against any danger that might arise.

In the vast darkness, a group lay concealed in the distant grass, carefully observing the defenses at Hammerfall's gate. They remained silent for a long while before Baron Ailiboxu finally broke the stillness. "That's the third change of guards already. The Wolf Fang Tribe is very vigilant. Those guarding the gate are all their strongest brutes."

"They haven't relaxed for even a moment. Taking them out when their attention slips is impossible," Baron Ailiboxu concluded.
