"This way, Your Highness?" A clear voice rang out in front of Rex. A slender Night Elf in leather armor that showed off her graceful figure led the way. "We're here, Your Highness. The Grand Priestess is inside." After gesturing for Rex to enter, the Night Elf woman left.
Tyrande, the Grand Priestess. Her actual position should have been High Priestess, a title acknowledged by the goddess. The position of Grand Priestess, however, carried something of a self-appointed air. After more than ten thousand years of ****, Tyrande had naturally developed ambitions. As someone with a powerful desire for control, she had pushed aside all her rivals and elevated her original position. High Priestess no longer adequately reflected her standing.
Only the unique position of Grand Priestess, a station comparable to that of a pope and subordinate to the goddess alone, was what Tyrande sought.
Rex looked at the simply fashioned wooden hut ahead, his face expressionless, then stepped toward it.
The hut had neither been built nor formed naturally. It was the product of a spell, made entirely from vines twisted together and ultimately woven into a wooden hut. It looked rather uneven, but the vine-woven structure had a charm of its own. No one was in the mood to appreciate that charm, however. Everyone's thoughts were elsewhere.
Rex entered the hut and looked for those already seated inside. Neither Cenarius nor Malfurion was present. Tyrande occupied the seat of honor. Sweeping his gaze around the hut, he discovered that there were not several people inside, only Tyrande, which surprised him. He had just received word to come here to discuss an important matter. There was no need for him to explain
