Jaina!
Rex's feelings toward Jaina were complicated. He could clearly sense that he felt no affection or love for her. What he felt for her and what he felt for Rona were two entirely different things.
To put it more precisely, if his feelings for Rona were love, then his feelings for Jaina were simply liking. That liking meant nothing more than liking, with no other thoughts attached. More specifically, it was the fondness Rex had for beautiful women. Jaina was beautiful. Her dazzling golden hair was exactly his type. No, to put it shamelessly, who did not like beautiful women?
He believed Jaina felt much the same way about him. There was no love between them, only desire.
Rex had no intention of changing that. He wanted to keep his relationship with Jaina as it was, without taking it any further. People were practical creatures. Viewed through the lens of his previous life, Azeroth was a typical Western society, with its own conventions. Monogamy was essentially the norm. Although it was not strictly enforced, women held considerable status here, unlike in ancient China, where they had little power even to make their own decisions. Women could become queens here. Ancient China had produced only one female emperor of lasting renown, but in the West, queens and female rulers were everywhere, too numerous to count.
Maintaining a sexual relationship with Jaina was the best choice for Rex. It allowed him to maximize his interests.
None of the alternatives were as good. Even abandoning his marriage to Rona and marrying Jaina would not be better
