His expression was stern as he looked at his wife, showing no leniency in his scolding.

"What's gotten into you? Why are you so protective of Rex? I remember you complaining about him plenty before." His wife showed no fear in the face of Marshall's reprimand.

"Marshall, stop beating around the bush. Don't I know what sort of man you are? If you were grateful to Rex, you wouldn't have kept complaining about him."
