Rex kept popping Experience Pills into his mouth like candy. This time, his attention was fixed on his experience bar. He completely ignored how the pills tasted and paid it no mind at all.
As the Experience Pills took effect and his experience bar began rising sharply, a smile spread across Rex's face.
Just as the Goblin had said, these Experience Pills were specially prepared for breaking through to Demigod. The experience Rex gained from them was substantial. Although his experience bar looked much the same as before and remained the same length, the amount of experience it represented was entirely different, having increased many times over. When Rex had cleared out the Ironclad Men outside the Goblin Shop, he had deliberately checked his experience bar to see exactly how much experience he would gain. But one look had left him disheartened. Nothing else had changed; only the numbers on the bar had moved.
When it came to the filled portion of the experience bar, however, he realized that it had not increased at all-not even a little. That told Rex that leveling up by killing monsters would take an unknown amount of time. It would have to be measured in years, and that was assuming he spent every day in the Warcraft System World. If he left the Warcraft System World instead of staying here day after day, even years would no longer be an adequate measure.
Rex truly had no idea how many years it would have taken him to advance from Heroic to Demigod if he had never obtained any Experience Pills. A hundred years? Two hundred?
It would certainly take that long. Rex was not exaggerating. Perhaps the time would be somewhat shorter if he stayed in the Warcraft System World every single day, but that
