This time, Rex moved very quickly. After entering the Goblin Shop, he wasted no time at all. He asked the Goblin for a box of Experience Pills, then walked straight out.
Rex did not even ask the Goblin whether these Experience Pills could be sold individually.
Knowing the Goblin as well as he did, he could simply forget about that possibility. Unless the sun rose in the west, it would never happen.
After leaving the Goblin Shop, Rex did not stay outside its entrance to take the Experience Pills this time. Instead, he headed far away.
Rex was certain that taking this many Experience Pills would let him break through. With that settled, he no longer needed to keep visiting the Goblin Shop, so he left without hesitation. The shop was of no use to him for now. More importantly, he was wary of the Ironclad Men outside, who had yet to respawn. Breaking through to Demigod was certainly not something he could finish in a short time.
It would take a long time to accomplish.

Rex thought that was unlikely. This was not the real world, where such an outcome would be quite possible. In the Warcraft System World, the odds were much lower. This was only an avatar, after all. Still, even if permanently losing the ability to break through was unlikely, Rex believed that failure would inevitably cause a sharp drop in his experience points. There had to be some penalty for failing to reach Demigod, and experience points were the most likely
