Darkness, boundless darkness...
Within the infinite Void, coldness and deathly stillness became the eternal main theme. There was no such thing as "existence" here, only pure "nothingness."
The very concept of space seemed torn apart. It stretched endlessly, yet appeared to have no boundaries; it was vast and boundless, yet at the same time as tiny as a mustard seed.
Here, time had become a luxurious fantasy. It neither flowed nor stood still, as though it had been completely drained away, leaving behind only a solidified, beginningless and endless "now."
A streak of light tore through the Void, illuminating the darkness and shattering the "nothingness."
It was a sphere of light, trailing a long tail like a meteor, moving at an astonishing speed. Although there were no points of reference in the Void, anyone who saw it would instinctively understand just how "fast" it was.
Beneath its outer radiance stood an ancient, mysterious gate. Countless reliefs were carved upon it—animals, plants, mountains, rivers...
The reliefs were vivid and lifelike, as though they truly formed a complete world.
Amon stood amid a boundless, hazy expanse of grayish-white mist. There was nothing around him, yet his intuition told him that he could control this place.
He raised his right hand and adjusted the Monocle over his right eye, a smile curling across his lips. "Interesting."
After a snap of his fingers, the surroundings shifted according to his will. The hazy mist spread outward, leaving behind a vast open space in the center.
Above that open space, a magnificent temple slowly took shape. Towering pillars and a circular dome rose into view, and directly beneath the dome appeared a long bronze table, along with twenty-two high-backed chairs marked with different zodiac symbols.
