Faced with Amon's proposal, Chu Zihang fell silent for only a moment before simply agreeing.
No emotion could be seen in those ever-burning Golden Eyes, as though the annihilation of an elite squad had merely been the loss of a few insignificant pieces on a chessboard. He had always been sparing with words.
On a real battlefield, if Amon had truly killed Lancelot, Chu Zihang would never have accepted this proposal.
He was not a creature driven by purely rational self-interest. He valued feelings and loyalty; those things were carved into his bones.
But this was, after all, only a game. Lancelot and his team had merely fallen asleep under the Frigg Bullets.
Since it was a game, they should choose the strategy most favorable to them... all for victory!
"I'll coordinate with your attack and tie down the Student Union's forces from the flank." Amon cut off communications as soon as he finished speaking.
He turned to Lu Mingfei and made an OK gesture.
"Good. Everything is going according to plan. Next, it's our time to perform."
The two immediately threw themselves into battle.
During their advance, Amon made very few moves, but each one was terrifyingly efficient. Whether they were Lionheart Society members who had wandered into the area or Student Union vanguards attempting to encircle them, anyone who stepped into his alert radius was instantly eliminated.
With the bullets in his hand, he built an impenetrable barrier.
Lu Mingfei, meanwhile, focused on long-range sniping. Hidden behind cover, he did not fire often, but every bullet that tore through the air was like Bleach calling a name. It almost never missed.
One dark-red figure after another fell in response within his scope. The continuous casualties placed immense psychological pressure on the Student Union.
