The word echoed through Lu Mingfei's mind, leaving him faintly dizzy.
"Listen carefully," Amon said in a low voice. "If you don't want them to die like this, then use everything you've got to decipher this Dragon Script."
He took out his student ID and swiped it through the card slot on the desk. With two soft beeps, the thick wooden desktop flipped open, revealing an embedded tablet screen.

Lu Mingfei looked around and only then realized that everyone else had brought laptops, connected to the desk system through data cables.
Only he and Amon had come empty-handed. He hurriedly copied the others, swiped his card, opened the desktop, and activated the built-in system.
The screen lit up, and a 3D image of a girl appeared. Dressed in a pure white gauze gown resembling pajamas, her long hair drifting without wind, she gave Lu Mingfei a graceful bow and spoke in an ethereal voice:
"'S'-class freshman Lu Mingfei, I am pleased to serve you. Please configure your system."
