Mu Chen as He Was Meant to Be

Mu Chen sat on a roughly square stone, half buried in the earth and half exposed aboveground. He took out the red bead he had pried from the center of the Wood God Sentinel's forehead, pinched it between his thumb and forefinger, and held it up before his right eye for careful inspection.
