"What are you doing?"
Su Chen reached out and held Hu Liena away from him.
Hu Liena's face flushed crimson as she tilted her head up slightly and met Su Chen's eyes. Her gaze held a tangled mix of emotions: disappointment, shyness, and, most of all, resentment.
Had it not been for the Ninth Trial of Lust, Hu Liena would never have kissed Su Chen that day. She would have let her love for him rot away in her heart.
