Sunset Forest

In the Heaven Dou Empire, there stood a natural forest of Soul Beasts.

In terms of size and variety of Soul Beasts, this forest could not compare to the universally renowned Star Dou Great Forest. But apart from the vast seas and the rarely visited Far North, it could certainly rank second among the finest havens for Soul Beasts. This was Sunset Forest!

In the continent's current era, this forest was not yet particularly famous. Ten thousand years later, however, its name would resound far and wide. Of course, that was a story for another time!

Within the dense forest, a few colorful little flowers lay quietly in the embrace of the grass. Against the flowers, the grass looked even greener. The crystal-clear stream was like a mirror, reflecting towering trees that reached into the clouds. Emerald leaves framed the blue sky, making it seem bluer still.

Beside the stream, a one-horned spotted deer strolled gracefully. Monkeys with four arms swung between the great trees... Everything in the forest seemed so quiet and peaceful.

All of this was shattered by a giant tiger.

The tiger sprang nimbly from a tree trunk.

The shout came from an inconspicuous corner of the forest. A man stood holding a brilliant golden scepter. As he stamped his foot, four Soul Rings appeared around him, their colors yellow, yellow, purple, and purple.
