This absurdly difficult Chakra Control training truly proved immensely useful to Hoshi and the others. Take Hoshi himself, for example. Previously, his chakra would nearly run dry after using Line of Moonlight three times, and four times had been his limit.

But now, he could use it one more time. Even after using Line of Moonlight five times, he still had enough chakra left to cast two C-rank Ninjutsu.

Don't underestimate that extra use of Line of Moonlight. An additional chance to dash forward was incredibly valuable. Perhaps Hoshi would one day save his own life because of that extra bit of chakra.
