With a sudden movement, he leaped over swiftly, crying out nonstop in a strange voice, "Ah! You're the one who saved me! You're the one who rescued me from that dark hell!"
"I, Sun Wukong, searched so hard for you!"

He flew over in a stumbling rush and knelt directly before Xu Tong in full view of everyone. The grace of saving his life was like granting him life anew. Those Five-Colored Stones had carried Xu Tong's aura.
Even from a hundred miles away, Sun Wukong had sensed the terrifying aura radiating from him.
It was elusive and ethereal, yet he was utterly certain. Yes, Xu Tong was the one who had helped him.
"Of course, of course. Sun Wukong, now that you've returned, make sure you remember the hideous faces of these creatures. Especially Buddha Tathagata-he's absolutely no good!"
Xu Tong spoke coldly. Did he really need to spare Tathagata any dignity on an occasion like this?
"Amitabha. Those who have left the worldly life do not speak falsehoods!"
"To single me, Tathagata, out in broad daylight like this-isn't that rather improper?"
Light flickered like fleeting shadows, and a fissure opened in the space at the horizon. A gate through space and time appeared, forming a hollow passage.
Tathagata arrived with Guanyin Bodhisattva at the Three Extremes, where Xu Tong was expounding the Dao.
Tathagata had only just finished his own discourse, yet Xu Tong had begun another right on their heels. No matter how one looked at it, that seemed somewhat hard to justify.
"Blessed indeed, blessed indeed. Our Buddha Tathagata has rendered great kindness to the Primordial World, especially after the Journey to the West Calamity."
Guanyin Bodhisattva looked at Xu Tong and spoke first.
