Gungun had ruled the Heavenly Court for many years and had countless deities under its command, but few were both worthy of its absolute trust and powerful enough. The Dharma Protector it had chosen for its reincarnation therefore had to be among those few.

He had divined that Xiong Zhan was currently in the mortal world's Great Ming Kingdom, but he could not determine exactly where it was or what it was doing there.
Though Xiong Zhan possessed powerful magic, it was far beneath him. How could he fail to divine its circumstances clearly? The only explanation was that someone had concealed the heavenly secrets surrounding it. Judging by that feeling, the one responsible was... the Ancestral Bear!
