Rhaenys stopped trying to hold herself upright and sank back into his embrace, resting her forehead against his shoulder.

She stayed quietly in Viserys's arms for a long while. Only when her slightly hurried breathing had grown slow and steady did she lift her head again.

A faint redness still lingered around Rhaenys's eyes, but her violet eyes had regained their usual clarity. The composure of a Targaryen princess had taken over once more.

Her gaze naturally passed over Viserys's shoulder, settling first on Ygritte, who had been standing quietly behind him.

The red-haired woman from beyond the Wall was watching the two of them with her arms folded. Torchlight illuminated her still-sharp gaze, and she looked completely unharmed.

Next, Rhaenys looked at Robb Stark a few steps away. The young man stood with his back straight, but the thick bandages around his shoulder and his rather pale face made it clear he had not escaped unscathed.

"It has. I've sealed her away for now."

Viserys released Rhaenys from his embrace and raised a hand instead, carefully brushing the snowflakes from her shoulders. "As for the details, we can talk once we're back in our room. It's too windy here, and you aren't dressed warmly enough."
