He vanished from where he stood, appeared before Son Gohin an instant later, and threw a punch.
Beerus struck Son Gohin's afterimage, then immediately spun around and punched at Son Gohin, who was attacking him from behind.
Their fists collided, and the shock wave shattered every meteorite around them, large and small.
Son Gohin drove his knee upward, but Beerus had already vanished, leaving an afterimage behind.
Son Gohin reacted quickly, unleashing his full aura to force back Beerus's surprise attack from behind before turning to attack him.
Beerus ducked under a flying kick, reached out with his feline paw, and caught Son Gohin by the ankle. Then he swung him around and hurled him toward a distant meteorite.
Son Gohin slammed into the meteorite, kicking up clouds of dust and gouging out a huge crater.
Before Beerus could launch another attack, Son Gohin emerged from the crater.
Then the two clashed again.
They darted and weaved through the asteroid belt, chasing each other down and occasionally exchanging a punch or kick.
Huge craters scarred the larger asteroids, while the smaller meteorites were smashed apart and knocked out of orbit, hurtling toward Earth.
On Earth, everyone watched their fierce battle without blinking.
