As time passed, Son Gohin accumulated more and more injuries. Though his counterattacks occasionally injured Beerus too, Beerus was faring far better than he was.
After knocking Son Gohin back once again, Beerus attacked again.
Son Gohin waved a hand at Beerus. "Wait, Lord Beerus!"
"What is it, Son Gohin?" Beerus asked.
Panting, Son Gohin smiled. "Lord Beerus, I admit defeat."
"Uh, all right," Beerus said.
Then Son Gohin took Beerus back to Earth using Instant Transmission.
Seeing them, Champa burst out laughing. "Well, well, well! It's only been a few days, and you've gotten this pathetic, Beerus? You had that much trouble fighting a kid? Hahaha!"
"You fat pig! Let's see you try!" Beerus shouted.
"Hahaha! I admit I can't beat Son Gohin," Champa said with a laugh. "But I was never that strong to begin with. Aren't you supposed to be the strongest God of Destruction? If beating a mere mortal child takes that much effort, how do you have the nerve to call yourself the best among us? Hahaha!"
Beerus was so furious that he jumped three feet into the air.
Seeing Beerus humiliated, Old Kai covered his mouth and snickered, but Beerus caught him anyway.
"You old bastard, what the hell are you laughing at?" Beerus demanded.
"I remembered something that made me happy," Old Kai said.
"And what was that?" Beerus narrowed his eyes at Old Kai.
Old Kai instinctively edged closer to Son Goku, then straightened his back. "You getting beaten up."
"What? Say that again, you old bastard!" Beerus said.
"I said the thing that made me happy was you getting beaten up, Beerus," Old Kai replied.
"Why, you old bastard! Looks like you want me to seal you away again!" Beerus said.
"With Goku here, let's see you try!" Old Kai said.
