On a nameless planet in the Milky Way Galaxy, West Supreme Kai Lyla watched a young man in a green martial arts uniform in the distance. With his silver hair and eyebrows, he bore a striking resemblance to Son Goku.
She said, "Xicor, it's time to prove you're the universe's greatest warrior. Come with me to Earth, find your father, Son Goku, and kill him. Then you'll be the strongest warrior in the universe."
Xicor replied, "All right, Mother. I'd like to see just how strong my father, Son Goku, really is."
The two then flew off the planet. Once they were outside it, Xicor destroyed it with an energy blast. Watching the fireworks of the exploding planet, he broke into a sickening smile.
A little later, Xicor got his bearings and set off with West Supreme Kai Lyla toward Earth in the Milky Way Galaxy.
On Earth, Great Goku and Vegeta were still training hard.
Son Gohan, Son Goten, and Trunks were also working hard at their training.
On the black hole at the center of the Milky Way Galaxy, Son Goku was moving forward one step at a time, at a turtle's pace.
Over the past few months, Son Goku had successfully set foot on the supermassive black hole, Taotie.
His body's toughness had risen another level. Not only that, his strength in his base form had also increased dramatically. Yet he still had no idea how to achieve Super Saiyan 8.
Son Goku wasn't in a hurry, though. At his level, every increase in strength was incredibly difficult, let alone crossing the enormous gulf between Super Saiyan 7 and Super Saiyan 8.
A few days later, Son Goku was training on Taotie as usual.
