With two sharp swishes, two figures tore through space and appeared before everyone.
The newcomers were none other than Beerus and Whis.
Beerus asked Son Gohin, "What are you all doing?"
Son Gohin said, "Lord Beerus, we're sparring. My fathers and Uncle Vegetas from two other timelines, along with Trunks and Uncle Reg, came to visit our timeline, so we decided to spar while they were here."
Hearing this, Beerus looked at Goku No. 1, Reg, Son Goku 2, Vegeta 2, and Trunks. "You're all from other timelines?"
Son Goku 2 smiled. "It's been a while, Lord Beerus."
Goku No. 1 said, "So you're Beerus, the God of Destruction."
Beerus looked at Goku No. 1. "What, you've never met me in your timeline?"
Goku No. 1 said, "No. The highest deity in our timeline is the Supreme Kai. There's no God of Destruction at all."
"What? How could that be?" Beerus asked.
Whis considered this. "They must come from timelines that branched away from the main timeline's development. There should be quite a few parallel universes like theirs in that region of spacetime."
"Oh, I see," Beerus said in realization.
Goku No. 1 said, "I heard you're incredibly strong. Would you spar with me?"
Beerus glanced at Goku No. 1. "Sure. Once those two up there finish sparring, we'll have our match."
"All right, no problem. Thank you, Lord Beerus," Goku No. 1 said.
Beerus smiled. "It's nothing." Inwardly, however, he thought, This fellow's Super Saiyan 6 doesn't look all that strong. He'll be perfect for reestablishing my standing as the God of Destruction.
He turned to Son Gohin. "Your father still hasn't finished his training?"
"No. He's been in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber for thirty days now," Son Gohin said.
