"What do you mean, ugly freak?" Lazuli asked.
Son Goku said, "Lazuli, he's Cell, the Ultimate Android created by Dr. Gero. Once he absorbs you and Lapis, he can become Perfect Cell, and his power will increase dramatically."
"What? This monster actually wants to absorb my sister and me?" Lapis exclaimed in shock.
Cell said, "I already absorbed Android 17 in my world. Now all I need is Android 18."
Curious, Son Goku asked, "How did you absorb Android 17? I doubt Trunks would have just let you do it."
Cell replied, "Of course Trunks wouldn't have let me absorb Android 17. I absorbed him after killing Trunks. Unfortunately, Trunks had already killed Android 18, so I went to all that trouble to travel to the past in the Time Machine and find her."
Son Goku continued, "If Trunks could kill Android 18, he should have been able to kill you before you absorbed Android 17. How did you kill him?"
Cell smiled. "With a sneak attack, of course. Trunks became far stronger after returning from the past, and I was no match for him. But I could hide my energy. The instant he let his guard down after killing Android 18, I ambushed him and seriously wounded him. Then I killed him."
"Ah, perhaps that was the fate of the Trunks in your world. The Androids' bloodthirsty cruelty had haunted him for over a decade. After finally killing Android 18, he was bound to relax, and you took advantage of that. But Cell, you passed up the road to paradise and barged straight into hell. Since you're here, we'll be kind enough to bury you here," Son Goku said.
Cell burst out laughing. "Hahaha! You think trash like you can do that? You couldn't even beat Android 17 and Android 18, yet you want to kill me? What a joke!"
Everyone roared with laughter. Raditz, who loved crushing weaklings more than anyone, said, "Who gave you the courage to think we're no match for you? You're killing me! Apart from the Earthlings and the Androids, pick anyone here. If you can beat them, I'll do a handstand and shit myself on the spot."
Furious, Cell snapped at Vegeta, "Vegeta, keep your dog in line, or I won't mind crippling him."
Vegeta smiled. "Suit yourself. If you can beat him, go ahead."
"Damn you, Vegeta! Are you looking down on me? A mere Raditz... uh..."
Raditz grinned. "What's wrong, Cell? Why the 'uh'? Go on, finish your sentence."
Cold sweat poured down Cell's forehead as he shouted, "Raditz, since when could you turn into a Super Saiyan too?"
"What, was I supposed to notify you when I became a Super Saiyan? Who do you think you are? With my strength, do you deserve that?" Raditz said.
Cell's face darkened. Realizing he probably wouldn't escape today, he turned to Son Goku and said, "Son Goku, do you dare let me absorb Android 18 and become perfect? Then we can settle this."
Son Goku smiled. "You think becoming Perfect Cell will make you a match for us?"
"Son Goku, just tell me whether you dare," Cell said.
"You really won't give up until all hope is gone, will you, Cell? Fine, I'll grant your wish," Son Goku said.
"What? Brother-in-law, you're not really going to let this ugly freak absorb my sister, are you?" Lapis exclaimed in alarm.
Lazuli also stared at Son Goku with wide eyes.
Son Goku hurriedly said, "Of course not! Lazuli is my wife. There's no way I'd let Cell absorb your sister."
Cell snarled, "Son Goku, what do you mean? Are you messing with me? How can I become perfect without absorbing Android 18?"
"Who says you can't become perfect without absorbing Android 18? Don't forget, you have Saiyan cells in your body too. Take advantage of the massive power boost Saiyans get after recovering from the brink of death, and becoming perfect will be easy," Son Goku said.
Still unaware of how serious his situation was, Cell said, "I see. I would have forgotten if you hadn't mentioned it."
"You certainly can't do it alone. I'll have a few people help you," Son Goku said.
Then he addressed Raditz, Nappa, Son Goshin, and Son Gohin. "The four of you can give Cell a hand in a moment. Let him achieve the perfect form he's always dreamed of, so he can die without regrets."
The four of them chuckled sinisterly.
Son Goku took out five Senzu Beans and handed them to Raditz. "Raditz, you know what to do, right?"
Raditz took the Senzu Beans. "Kakarot, wouldn't using these on him be a waste?"
"It's fine. If we run out, I'll ask Korin for more," Son Goku said.
"All right, got it. Leave Cell to us," Raditz said.
Son Goku nodded, then walked over to Lazuli. "Lazuli, I've already convinced Bulma and Chi-Chi. You don't have any objections now, do you?"
Blushing, Lazuli nodded.
Seeing that, Son Goku scooped Lazuli into his arms in a bridal carry, then told the others, "Deal with Cell however you see fit."
Before anyone could react, he used Instant Transmission to return home.
He found an empty room and began an intense battle with Lazuli. Both had unlimited stamina, leaving them evenly matched.
Leaving aside Son Goku and Lazuli's battle, the others had their own business to attend to.
After Son Goku left, Raditz discussed things with Piccolo and the others. They decided Son Goshin would go first and use Cell as a sparring partner to gain some actual combat experience.
Seeing this, Cell said, "None of you adults will fight, so you're sending out this little brat? Are you trying to get him killed?"
Everyone burst out laughing. Raditz said, "Cell, you're killing me! Do you even know who he is, mocking him like that?"
"Who is he? Is he supposed to be stronger than you adults?" Cell asked.
"Listen carefully. He's Kakarot's eldest son and my eldest nephew, Son Goshin. He can turn into a Super Saiyan too, and he's far stronger than me," Raditz said.
Cell was stunned.
Then Son Goshin spoke. "Cell, how dare you look down on me? I'm going to beat you until you're crawling around looking for your teeth!"
Cold sweat poured off Cell in fright.
Son Goshin transformed into a Super Saiyan and unleashed his power level of two hundred billion. Terrified, Cell shook like a leaf, unable to stop trembling.
Lapis and Android 16 were both stunned by Son Goshin's strength. Lapis told Android 16, "No wonder you said Son Goku's power was unfathomable. With a son this strong, how could he be anything but powerful?"
"I can sense that this still isn't Son Goshin's full power," Android 16 said.
"What? How is that possible?" Lapis asked in shock.
Android 16 said, "You saw Son Goku's transformation too. Son Goshin's current transformation is completely different from his. That means Son Goshin has other transformations he hasn't shown us. Those can only be stronger than his current form, so the strength he's showing now isn't his true power."
Lapis sucked in a sharp breath. "Son Goshin is actually that terrifying!"
