When the four arrived in the Future Timeline aboard the Time Machine, ruins stretched as far as they could see. Dark clouds blanketed the sky, leaving it dim and lightless.
Kakarot said angrily, "Damn that Zamasu! What kind of god is he? He's destroyed the world!"
Son Goku said, "Zamasu can no longer be called a god. He's become a demon. Only by wiping him out completely can we restore peace to the universe."
Vegeta said, "That's right. He's even worse than Frieza. This time, we have to finish him off for good."
Trunks nodded in agreement. He also wanted to avenge his friends and family who had died.
While the four were talking, Goku Black came sniffing them out.
Goku Black appeared before them and said arrogantly, "I never thought you'd have the nerve to follow me here. Perfect. I'll kill you, then go to your world and slaughter all those insects."
Vegeta snorted. "You won't get the chance. Today is the day you die."
"Hmph. A mere insect dares challenge a noble god? Do you think you're worthy?" Goku Black said.
Vegeta said, "What noble god? You're nothing but a thief who stole someone else's body. How do you have the nerve to go around showing off?"
Listening to Vegeta, Son Goku thought, Damn, Vegeta really knows how to twist the knife.
Sure enough, Vegeta's words struck a nerve. Goku Black snapped at him, "When a god borrows an insect's body, that insect should feel honored, not mouth off at the god!"
Son Goku said, "If you're such a lofty god, why would you want an insect's body? Let's be honest. You weren't strong enough to beat humans, so you resorted to this underhanded trick to wipe them out."
