Tang Tang was stunned, shaken, and at a complete loss.
Before her rebirth into this life, apart from brief exchanges with Master, Little Senior Brother, and her parents, she had all but stopped interacting with people. She no longer knew how ordinary people got along with one another.
In the first few years, she could still take advantage of her young age, pretend to be a quiet child, and refuse to communicate.
But now that she was older, and the younger children in the Tang Family were getting clingier, she had no choice but to talk to them.
The same went for her parents.
The adults all seemed worried that she would become mute. Whenever they found an opportunity, they tried every possible way to get her talking, leaving her no chance to slack off.
So she could only play along. To keep them from coming up with any more schemes, she learned ways of communicating that made her seem normal. It was exhausting, but fortunately, it worked. Sure enough, no one suspected she would become mentally impaired or mute anymore.
Yet even so, she had still inadvertently hurt her brothers and sisters. Today, even her beautiful mom had said she was too distant and that it hurt her.
Tang Tang felt a little lost. Did she really come across as that cold?
"Then what should I do to stop being so distant?"
"What should I do to seem closer to you?"
Su Xiajing: "..."
She really did not understand how to get along with people.
Tang Tang thought it over carefully and realized she could no longer remember how she used to communicate normally with others.
Especially with her family.
It seemed that ever since the Tang Family had found her, she had never again spoken to her parents
