Before she could speak, Tang Beichen hurried to explain, "I'll take the trash with me. I just want to be there as soon as Tangtang wakes up."
Su Xiajing: "..."
"Suit yourself."
It was just one takeout meal in the living room. She wasn't that petty.
Su Xiajing turned away and opened her iPad to read the script Zhang Zhang had sent over.
"Thank you, Xia Jing."
Tang Beichen promptly placed his order. Ever since Tang Tang was born and he moved into the apartment, this had been his only delivery address. He didn't even need to select it again.
When Tang Tang woke up, the room was quiet.
Although she knew she no longer had to worry about being thrown away, she still instinctively checked her surroundings.
This is my pretty mommy's room.
Are we home?
Apparently, she had slept for that long.
And despite all the commotion on the way back, she hadn't woken up at all!
Lying there, Tang Tang reflected on herself. When had she become so relaxed?
She thought it over but couldn't come up with an answer.
Her infant body had her spending every day eating and sleeping. Whenever she was awake, there was always someone around, especially her pretty mommy, who had barely left her side for over a month.
Besides her, there were often uncles, aunts, and older cousins around. Since her cousins were all just little kids, the more time she spent with them, the more her guard slipped.
Without her noticing when it started, it had gradually become a habit.
In the past, Tang Tang would certainly have criticized herself, considering it a bad habit.
Now, though, Tang Tang couldn't be bothered to think about it.
She had already decided to coast through life anyway, so whatever happened was fine.
