In the early morning, a brilliant shaft of sunlight spilled into the room. The steaming hot spring water shimmered, reflecting the beautiful woodland scenery, while a little tray bobbed on the surface, looking terribly lonely.
"Mmm..." The large mound on the bed shifted. Sunlight fell across his fluffy head, and vivid red marks covered his pale neck.
"Want to sleep a little longer?" Bo Xi was replying to his assistant's messages on his phone. Picking up the remote beside him, he asked, "Should I close the curtains?"
He shook his head and buried it entirely in Bo Xi's chest. Within seconds, he was fast asleep again.
Bo Xi found it amusing. He wasn't even sure whether Lin Xingye had heard what he'd said before shaking his head.
He was so adorable it made Bo Xi's heart melt.
He reached out and gently patted his back, soothing him into an even deeper sleep.
"Star's going to be so surprised!" Qi Sijing had rushed back after taking care of the arrangements for Qi Sinian to go abroad, only to hear that Star had gone to the Hot Spring.
And he'd gone with that scheming bastard Bo Xi.
That jerk Bo Xi certainly wasn't as charming as he was. Once he showed up, Star would definitely toss Bo Xi aside.
Qi Sijing had that much confidence, at least.
He'd spent ages getting ready last night, having his hair trimmed and getting a facial. He'd even squeezed in an intense workout in the middle of the night.
All to make the pecs Star loved look even fuller.
He'd also brought Star a little cake he liked.
It was wrapped with a pink bow, too.
He didn't know whether Star was awake yet, but that didn't matter. They'd invested in this hot spring resort, so
