Plot points and events
- After a violent incident, An Shi and Lin Xingye recover in hospital. Their teacher reports that a blond man carried An Shi from the ambulance and was later called away by the police—confirming that William helped rescue him.
- An Shi stays awake watching over Lin Xingye, relieved that he is safe.
- William visits An Shi. Despite their awkward history, he checks An Shi’s bruises and urges him not to move. He then invites him abroad for a holiday; An Shi unexpectedly agrees, leaving William delighted.
- Lin Xingye reveals he woke during the invitation and playfully teases An Shi about it. An Shi checks on his injuries and privately resolves to prevent him from breaking his dietary restrictions as soon as he is discharged.
