Naruto dealt with the Ōtsutsuki threat and Kaguya’s seal while returning to a Konoha full of political maneuvering and personal entanglements. After Konoha’s victory over Kirigakure, he took charge of Black Zetsu and left Koharu and Homura’s latest power play for later.

• Young Naruto arranged for Ada and Daemon’s abilities to be removed, then took Otohime and the younger Hinata and Hanabi on an outing where he encountered Boruto’s team on a mission.
• Hamura refused Kaguya’s request to leave the seal, while Hagoromo explained that Naruto could protect the Shinobi World and discussed the Ōtsutsuki Clan’s structure and powers with her.
• Naruto asked Hamura about awakening the Tenseigan, received a gourd of Hamura’s chakra, and explained that he wanted Kaguya’s help locating Isshiki and the other Ten-Tails.
• Hiashi defended his authority as Acting Hokage against Koharu and Homura, using a marriage application and threats of an ANBU investigation to drive them from the Hokage’s Office.
• Hiruzen visited Nagato and Konan, urged Nagato to marry Konan and care for his health, and later listened as Koharu and Homura heard him reflect on Minato’s death.
• Naruto returned home with Otohime and welcomed Karin and Hikari, then addressed Tsunade’s gambling debts by advising her to earn money treating the Land of Fire Daimyo.
• Naruto visited Hana to check on Big Yellow and later traveled to Kirigakure, where Shino reported Konoha’s complete victory and gave him a scroll containing Black Zetsu.
• Naruto took charge of Black Zetsu and returned to Konoha, where Yugao and Tenzo told him Koharu and Homura had proposed making Tsunade Acting Hokage without her knowledge.

Naruto pushed his chakra experiments forward while outlining a lasting peace for the Shinobi World and strengthening alliances with Nagato and the Hyuga. The arc left Kaguya still sealed, Sasuke confronting Itachi’s return, and Itachi facing Konoha’s judgment.

• Naruto failed to use Otohime’s Shinkōsanrei to reach the future, then began risking thousands of Shadow Clones on experiments to fuse chakra natures.
• Naruto gave Hiashi Hamura Otsutsuki’s chakra to help the Hyuga pursue the Tenseigan and continued planning his own kekkei mōra research.
• Naruto assigned Kakuzu, Kisame, Zabuza, Haku, and Deidara missions to bring small nations into Konoha’s new order, while Hagoromo created the Six Paths Life-and-Death Shogi to counter Isshiki.
• Nagato challenged Naruto to explain how he would build lasting peace, and Naruto proposed reforms and aid for the Land of Rain before explaining that he could not yet revive Yahiko.
• One of Naruto’s Shadow Clones developed Yang Release: Healing Creation, and Naruto used the technique’s principles to create a controllable Yin-Yang Release symbol and a black chakra rod.
• Nagato accepted Orochimaru’s Hashirama cell transplant so he could live longer to protect Konan, then demonstrated Wood Release armor and a spear.
• Naruto questioned Black Zetsu about freeing Kaguya, but neither Black Zetsu nor Kaguya knew a workable way to break her seal, so Naruto returned to his plans and training.
• Sasuke confronted Itachi before Mikoto, then ordered Itachi sent through Konoha, where villagers condemned him and Yusuke and Jiro humiliated him before the crowd turned against them.

Naruto traveled to the Land of Demons to study the miko’s power, Moryo, and the Pure Land, while his Wood Clone confronted Asura over the chakra and destiny shaping Naruto and Sasuke’s lives. After securing the Land of Demons’ submission to Konoha, Naruto visited Kazahana Koyuki in the Land of Snow and reunited with her.

• Naruto reassured Sakura that he was serious about her, and Kizashi and Mebuki accepted their relationship after Naruto promised to protect her and give her a secure future.
• Naruto traveled to the Land of Demons, subdued Moryo’s soul with the Eight Pillars Seal, and sent a Wood Clone through Iwaya Slope into the Pure Land.
• Naruto’s Wood Clone marked the Pure Land, encountered Asura, and fought him while insisting that Naruto and Sasuke should choose their own futures rather than repeat an inherited cycle.
• Madara and Hashirama watched the battle, while Minato, Kushina, and Mito confronted Obito, and Obito lowered his sword and asked Minato if he could still turn back.
• Naruto’s Wood Clone and Asura stopped fighting to talk, and Hashirama attacked Asura after blaming the brothers’ conflict for influencing later generations and their bonds.
• Naruto reinforced the seals around Moryo’s body and promised to spare the Land of Demons, then left after Shion mistook his interest in her bloodline for romantic interest.
• Naruto arrived in the Land of Snow, where Kazahana Koyuki welcomed him, recalled their country’s recovery, and confessed that she loved him.
• Naruto avoided answering Koyuki’s confession and left with her to see the Land of Snow, while Mitaraishi Anko watched them.

Naruto confronted the Land of Snow’s dependence on Konoha while Jigen and Isshiki maneuvered to secure a vessel. After Isshiki escaped a battle against the souls of past shinobi and Kaguya broke free, Naruto allied with her against Hagoromo and challenged his control over the Pure Land.

• Kazahana Koyuki accepted that the Land of Snow could not keep its sovereignty, introduced her daughter Feng Xuehui to Naruto, and watched Yuto lead the girl to meet Himawari.
• Naruto searched for Jigen and suspected that Jigen was watching him, while a pseudo-Tenseigan awakening in Hinata Shin’s Byakugan led to an attack on Hiashi that Sasuke stopped.
• Uchiha Hikari challenged Otohime, but Otohime defeated her in the Dragon Palace genjutsu and left Hikari stunned by her strength.
• Naruto visited Yota’s grave before Jigen arrived in Amegakure and judged Naruto a possible vessel for Isshiki, while Hagoromo and Gamamaru trapped Jigen in the Six Paths Life-and-Death Shogi.
• Isshiki resurrected himself through Jigen’s failing body and fought Hamura, Madara, and other gathered souls before Kaguya’s chakra distracted Hagoromo and Hamura, allowing Isshiki to escape into Amegakure.
• Black Zetsu broke Kaguya’s seal, and Kaguya confronted Hagoromo and Hamura as Naruto arrived on the moon and rejected Black Zetsu’s offer to join them.
• Kaguya asked Naruto to help her stay alive and gain freedom, and Naruto agreed to cooperate with her against Hagoromo and the Pure Land.
• Naruto accused Hagoromo of using the Pure Land’s souls to interfere in the living world, and Hagoromo proposed a shogi match in one month, leaving Naruto asking what would happen if he lost.
