Yui and Nai Hyuga made a pact with Mito to defend the Land of Whirlpools in exchange for half of the Nine-Tails, while Yui awakened the Pseudo-Tenseigan and survived Danzo’s attack. As the transfer began, Yui healed Kushina Uzumaki’s parents, then rushed to help when the Nine-Tails escaped its seal.

• Nai Hyuga negotiated with Mito for half of the Nine-Tails, and Yui agreed to help protect the Land of Whirlpools in return.
• Yui awakened the Pseudo-Tenseigan from the Byakugan in Crystal Bottles, then fought Danzo when he attacked to seize the eyes.
• Yui and Nai drove off Danzo’s Root forces, but Danzo escaped, and Hatake Sakumo took the broken Wave Breaker Sword for repairs.
• Yui learned the Moon Style Twelve Dances and its secret technique Full Moon Moment as Nai told her the Nine-Tails transfer had been moved up to three days later.
• Kushina Uzumaki told Yui that masked ninja had injured her parents, and Yui flew with Kushina and Uesugi Yuri to treat them.
• Yui used Sage Mode to heal Li Hua and Dapeng, then hurried toward the ancestral hall when the Nine-Tails chakra erupted.

Nai Hyuga sealed and mastered the Nine-Tails’ power as Kumogakure moved against the Land of Whirlpools. Konoha’s attack on Kumogakure forced the Raikage to withdraw, leaving Mito and the others to verify that the island was safe.

• Yui and Mito sealed the Nine-Tails back inside Nai Hyuga, who later absorbed its chakra and demonstrated her new power.
• The Raikage learned of the Nine-Tails’ presence and sent forces to investigate, while Nai and Yui fought the arriving Sunagakure ninja.
• Yui infiltrated the Raikage’s circle with a transformed clone, and Hatake Sakumo, Orochimaru, Nai, and Yui drove back a large enemy force attempting to enter the Land of Whirlpools.
• Yui discovered a Sage scroll that drained her chakra, then traded Orochimaru the Hatake Blade-Healing Technique for a map to another Kusanagi Sword and revived Kazeno with the scroll’s technique.
• Hiruzen Sarutobi sent Konoha forces to raid Kumogakure, prompting the Raikage to recall his mission squad and abandon the planned attack on the Land of Whirlpools.
• Yui told Mito and Tsunade that Kumogakure was retreating, and Uzumaki investigators confirmed that its ninja were leaving the area.

Yui gathered allies and joined the Uchiha mission to investigate the Jashin cult, where she confronted Evil God Nami and learned that Nami wanted her to bear a child. Nami hid inside Yui’s horn, and Nai carried the unconscious Yui away while fighting off pursuing cultists.

• Yui defeated Lao Ren and Jiaoya, bound them with the Heart Binding cursed seal, and brought them to the Land of Whirlpools as guards.
• Yui discovered that Evil God Nami’s Cursed Seal had moved onto her Split Body, and Shobue sealed it while keeping the Split Body in Shikkotsu Forest for observation.
• Yui and Nai met Fugaku and Shinichi, took the Uchiha mission scroll, and later returned it after securing the Uchiha clan’s agreement to let them read the Evil God information.
• Yui and Nai joined the Uchiha team’s assault on the Jashin cult and followed Xiaocui into the cult’s headquarters instead of attacking her.
• Yui and Nai found the Evil God Skull, and Yui pursued it through a hidden passage while Nai investigated the cult leader and the Evil God records.
• Evil God Nami seized Yui, revealed that she wanted Yui to bear her child, and put her to sleep.
• Evil God Nami fused the skull with Yui’s left horn and hid inside it, while Nai arrived with the Evil God Records and found Yui unconscious.

Yui and Nai Hyuga defeat the Jashin Cult’s leader, rescue Uchiha Mikoto, and follow Orochimaru into ruins beneath the hot springs. A black mist separates Yui from her companions, and she reaches a strange part of the ruin where she confronts a soul-like figure.

• Yui and Nai Hyuga fought the Jashin Cult Leader, who used Xiaocui as a shield before Uchiha Su and the others helped defeat him.
• After two cultists kidnapped Uchiha Mikoto, Yui and Nai Hyuga chased them down a cliff, rescued Mikoto, and killed the fleeing cultists.
• Yui read the Evil God records, then joined Orochimaru and Nai Hyuga in searching for ruins beneath a hot spring.
• Yui, Nai Hyuga, and Orochimaru entered the underwater ruins and found an overhead stone door marked by fluorescent ore.
• The group opened the door and encountered a black mist vortex that swallowed them after the passage collapsed, leaving Yui separated from Nai Hyuga and Orochimaru.
• Yui escaped a chamber of acid water and deadly traps, then passed through the black mist into a strange room and found a gourd with sealing power.
• Yui followed a shadow that could not be seen with her Byakugan, destroyed its tar-like form, and confronted a transparent soul-like figure.
